I founded Mama Kay to help as many women as I can, together we are stronger. My goal is to build sustainability and the grounds for their empowerment.

My name is Biringiro Benon, the Program Director and Project Coordinator at The Mama Kay Foundation. I have been involved in various community out reaches for over 15 years where we have made positive impact when it comes to improving welfare of the people in the several vulnerable communities where we have worked. My passion is to help various vulnerable people in our communities so that their standards of living are improved in various aspects like health, food security, housing, economic development, etc. I choose Mama Kay because we share the same vision of improving lives of the various vulnerable groups of people in our societies like single mothers and their children.

Dr. Kibirige acts as a physician consult for the healthcare of our mentees. Alongside managing his own hospital, he uses his role as a medical professional to tap into his vast health network. He shares a vision for empowering young women and children, aligning with our vision of ‘building a village one woman at a time’.

Busayo brings her experience in research and statistics to direct our targets and goals, informing each of our program objectives. With her MSc. in Global Health, she is well-versed in the West African nonprofit sector, acting as our guide and consultant when navigating this space.
